Founded in 2010 by Nicola Dicketts and Amanda Mattey, My Kids Tutor aims to help parents who want more than a generic tutoring service for their child. Something personalised, someone who approaches learning holistically and somewhere that parents / guardians can see the progress of their child, week on week. As parents themselves they understand all the stages of children’s learning and want to impart that knowledge and expertise with you.
Our overall mission is to provide a bespoke and professional service that is tailored for every individual’s learning. Each child gets help to develop both subject knowledge and techniques, with tools to revise, stay curious and overcome barriers or challenges that may prevent them currently reaching their full potential.
Education is as much about confidence as retaining information- so we work with your child to nurture their approach to learning in a fun, engaging and personal way.
We are unique, because we are two mums who understand how important it is to help your child achieve the best in life.
We know the journey and the gruelling process of exam entries, interviews, public exams and finals… the list is endless when it comes to supporting our children, which is why we tailor a tuition service for your child, catering to their style, needs and personality.
We employ tutors who follow this ethos and are top of their game. They want to work with My Kids Tutor because of our testimonies of success and our care and creativity in managing your child’s personal tuition.
We interview all the tutors, follow up with at least 3 references and then, at the end of the process do the final test:
